Every answer you will need for the rest of your life is within you.
We observe the actions and hear the words of others, and from them make choices as to our next step on our own journeys. We choose our thoughts, our behaviors, and our actions, whether we choose to acknowledge it or not. We choose to add layers through relationships, religion, social activities, life choices…the list is extensive. Every item on that list sublimely enhances the resources we possess in providing answers to the as-yet unanswered questions in our lives.
Colors answer feeling in man; shapes answer thought; and motion answers will. -John Sterling
It’s when we start looking for and relying on answers that come from sources outside of ourselves that we’re met with confusion and oftentimes heartbreak. We’re taught from early childhood that we “need” other people, that we cannot provide the answers we seek, nor can we presume ourselves smart enough to hold all the answers. Oh, but we don’t, and we can, and we are. We turn to religion to find answers; we turn to loved ones; we turn to oracles such as Tarot; and we turn away from ourselves. Can we use these external tools as a lens to view deeper into our own thoughts? Absolutely, and it’s when we do this, when we learn to pick up tools that guide us in our search that we find success.
Look within. The answers lie deep. Trust in yourself. Believe in your Truth. Above all else, open your heart to your own inner voice.
